1:48 p.m.—$600,000 Forego Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course (FS2 and TVG)
Looking to make amends after finishing third as the heavy favorite in the grade 1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt, Bill and Corrine Heiligbrodt's Mitole will attempt to add a third grade 1 win to his resume in Saturday's seven-furlong Forego Stakes. Mitole captured the Metropolitan Handicap (G1) over subsequent Grade 1 Whitney winner McKinzie. Prior to running third in the Vanderbilt, the 4-year-old chestnut had won seven straight races.

Seperationofpowers has thrived at Saratoga, winning her debut at the historic track in July 2017 as a juvenile before running third in the grade 1 Spinaway the same year in September.

4:49 p.m.—$850,000 Sword Dancer Stakes (G1T) at Saratoga Race Course (FS2 and TVG)
Entering off an impressive allowance level win July 24, Klaravich Stables' and William Lawrence's Annals of Time will make his first graded stakes start since winning the grade 1 Hollywood Derby in 2016 as a 3-year-old. Sidelined for nine months following that win due to a soft tissue injury, he has only raced three times since, winning a second-level allowance race as a 4-year-old at Belmont Park followed by a runner-up third level allowance finish before subsequently winning last out by 4 1/2 lengths at the Spa.
