TVG Wraps Up 20th Anniversary With Sept. 1 Program

Jill Byrne, Julie Krone, Frank Lyons, Gary Mandella and a special guest appearance by Chris Harrison will highlight the finale of TVG's summer-long 20th anniversary celebration, on a special TVG Alumni telecast  Sunday, Sept. 1 from Del Mar.

The telecast will feature the return of many popular TVG personalities from the past 20 years.

The special coverage of Del Mar's Saturday card will be hosted throughout the day by Krone, Mandella, Byrne, Lyons, Chris Kotulak, Bob Baedeker, Gino Buccola,Jeff Lifson and Ken Rudulph, who recently returned to the network as the Friday-Sunday host of The Morning Line program. 

"We're excited to welcome back some very talented and dedicated people who helped us build our network," said Kevin Grigsby, the Senior Vice President of Programming and TVG executive producer. "We hope racing fans enjoy a chance to reconnect with some of these familiar faces." 

In addition to handicapping analysis, interviews and full coverage of the races, the broadcast will include a look back at the summer celebration of TVG's 20 years of horse racing coverage with insights and reflections from the veteran talent. 

This event will conclude TVG's summer-long celebration of its 20th anniversary which has included special programming, promotions and guest appearances surrounding marquee races including the TVG.com Haskell Invitational and the TVG Pacific Classic. Since launching on July 14, 1999, TVG's television network has emerged as daily go-to viewing for racing fans and US horse racing industry stakeholders and its ADW platform has grown into the market leader, processing over $1 billion in annual wagering.
