Catalina Cruiser wins the Pat O'Brien Stakes at Del Mar
Just over a week after earning his third win in as many starts this year and fifth career graded stakes victory, Hronis Racing's Catalina Cruiser has worked his way into the top 10 of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association Top Thoroughbred Poll.
Catalina Cruiser captured the Aug. 24 Pat O'Brien Stakes (G2) at Del Mar to complete the unprecedented double of winning the San Diego Handicap (G2) and Pat O'Brien Stakes two years in a row. The 5-year-old chestnut trained by John Sadler slid into the 10th spot of this week's poll.
