The Medaglia d'Oro colt was consigned as Hip 138 by Denali Stud, agent for Stonestreet Bred & Raised. His dam was campaigned and bred by Stonestreet Stables, with top victories in the Santa Margarita Stakes (G1), Santa Maria Stakes (G2), and Rancho Bernardo Handicap (G3).
Tara's Tango is a half sister to NetJets King Bishop Stakes (G1) winner Visionaire and graded stakes winners Scarlet Strike and Madison's Luna.
