Over a 26-race career that has yielded 21 wins and the Sovereign Award as Canada's Horse of the Year in 2017, 7-year-old Pink Lloyd has established himself as a world-class champion and fan favorite. On Saturday, the Old Forester gelding will be looking for a measure of revenge in the Bold Venture Stakes going 6 1/2 furlongs after finishing fifth to Yorkton in the 2018 edition of the race.

Starship Jubilee ran perhaps the best race of her career in the 2018 running of the Canadian Stakes, springing an 11-1 upset as the second longest shot in a field of six, which included a pair of favored Chad Brown shippers. On Saturday, Starship Jubilee will have to be equally sharp to defend her title in the 1 1/8-mile turf race for fillies and mares.
