The Medaglia d'Oro colt consigned as Hip 472 walks at the Gainesway consignment ahead of the Keeneland September Sale
Fireworks continued at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale Sept. 11 with a Medaglia d'Oro colt out of Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (G2) winner Keen Pauline bringing $1.2 million from Ben McElroy, agent for Qatar Racing.
The bay colt was consigned as Hip 472 by Gainesway, agent for Stonestreet Bred & Raised. He marked the fourth Stonestreet-bred yearling to sell for seven figures during Book 1.
Hip 472 is the first foal out of Keen Pauline. He is from the female family of grade 3 winner Insta Erma, grade/group 1-placed Sophisticated Girl and Dancing Tribute, and successful sire Doneraile Court.
