Lord of Greatness, an 18-time winner, has been sold and relocated to Wind N' Spring Farm near Charles Town, W.Va., for the 2020 breeding season, where he will stand for a private fee.

The 13-year-old son of Greatness entered stud in 2017 at Stonewall's Prestige Stallions near Ocala, Fla., following a racing career that spanned nine seasons. He compiled an 18-9-14 record from 74 starts, with earnings of $591,327. He also finished third in the Bob Summers Memorial Cup Stakes at Fort Erie at age 10.

As a juvenile, Lord of Greatness won at first asking over Woodbine's all-weather main track, winning a six-furlong maiden special weight by two lengths. He won at least one race in each of his nine seasons on the track.

Lord of Greatness is out of the winning Whadjathink mare Dowager Lady, whose four foals to race were all winners, including grade 3-placed, nine-time black-type winner Good Lord, who is a full brother to the stallion. Good Lord is a familiar name on the West Virginia scene, having set a track record for seven furlongs of 1:22.68 in the listed Wild and Wonderful Stakes at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.

Dowager Lady is a half sister to Christmas in Aiken (Affirmed), who is the dam of the late top sire Harlan's Holiday and three other stakes-placed winners.

Greatness is also the sire of Immortal Eyes, who earned over $1.17 million and holds the track record at Charles Town for 4 1/2 furlongs, having stopped the clock in :50.09 in the Webb Snyder Stakes. Michael Ingrassia, who purchased Lord of Greatness to stand in West Virginia, owns Private Eyes, the dam of Immortal Eyes, and said he plans to breed her to Lord of Greatness in 2020.
