Trainer Brendan Walsh with Vitalogy head out to train at Keeneland

Juveniles Vitalogy and Kimari already boast successful international experience, which they'll bring to the table Oct. 6 in a pair of turf stakes for 2-year-olds on the Keeneland card.

Vitalogy won his maiden debut at Naas and enters the $250,000 Dixiana Bourbon Stakes (G3T) off a third-place finish in the Summer Stakes (G1T) at Woodbine. The Kentucky-based filly Kimari, who finished second in the Queen Mary Stakes (G2) at Royal Ascot, will start in the $200,000 Indian Summer Stakes.

Though the Keeneland card is highlighted by the Juddmonte Spinster Stakes (G1), it includes these two turf stakes that will award spots in the Breeders' Cup World Championships. The Bourbon and Indian Summer are "Win and You're In" races awarding spots in the Juvenile Turf (G1T) and Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2T), respectively.

Vitalogy, a son of No Nay Never, will be making his first start for Kentucky-based trainer Brendan Walsh. Qatar Racing, Marc Detampel, and Bottle Rocket Stable's Vitalogy will be starting in a fourth country in as many starts after his first three races for trainer Joseph O'Brien. After his maiden win in Ireland, he finished fourth in a group 3 at York ahead of a grade 1 placing at Woodbine.

With jockey Javier Castellano up for the first time, Vitalogy will break from the outside in the expected field of 14 going 1 1/16 miles.

Trainer Mark Casse has won three of the past four editions of the Bourbon and this year will send out JSM Equine's Peace Achieved and Tracy Farmer homebred Prince of Thieves. Peace Achieved, by Declaration of War, enters off a clear victory in the Gainesway Farm Juvenile Stakes at Kentucky Downs, and Prince of Thieves, by Into Mischief , enters off a third-place finish in the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Turf Sprint Stakes.

In the Indian Summer, Ten Broeck Farm's Kimari will be returning to the track where she unleashed a 15-length score in her April 25 maiden debut, although that effort was on the Keeneland main track. The Munnings  filly enters the 5 1/2-furlong test off a four-length win in the Bolton Landing Stakes Aug. 14 at Saratoga Race Course.

Trained by Wesley Ward, Kimari will swap Racing Hall of Fame riders as Mike Smith will be up for the first time after John Velazquez was aboard for the first three races. She'll start from post 2 when she takes on males in an expected field of nine.

Trainer Todd Pletcher has entered Mystic Lancelot, who will cut back in distance after finishing ninth in the Summer. Phoenix Thoroughbreds' Mystic Lancelot, by Into Mischief, won his maiden debut by three lengths sprinting on the turf at Saratoga.

Live Oak Plantation's Old Chestnut, a Casse trainee, will start from the inside. The son of Speightstown  enters off a pair of decisive victories in turf sprints at Woodbine, most recently a 3 3/4-length score in the Ontario Racing Stakes.
