Hill 'n' Dale Farms announced its 2020 stud fees, led by top-five sire Curlin , whose stud fee holds steady at $175,000.

Curlin is the fourth-leading sire by progeny earnings year-to-date on the BloodHorse's general leading sire list and the second-leading sire by number of graded stakes winners with 10 behind Tapit , who has 11. Per an earlier announcement, Curlin's book will not exceed 140 mares.

"I thank Barbara Banke for her support of mares and allowing his stud fee to remain unchanged at $175,000 when his accomplishments could have justified a raise," said Hill 'n' Dale president John Sikura. "Allowing breeders to be profitable is essential and engenders loyalty to the Hill 'n' Dale stallions. I have always tried to provide fellow breeders with the best value possible."

New to the farm's roster is multiple grade 1 winner and millionaire World of Trouble  by Hill 'n' Dale stallion Kantharos . World of Trouble won at the highest level on dirt and turf, having captured the Carter Handicap (G1) and the Jaipur Invitational Stakes (G1T). On the board in 12 of 13 starts with nine wins, World of Trouble posted a 118 Beyer Speed Figure when runner-up in the 2018 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T), earning in that effort the highest Beyer for a 3-year-old that year. World of Trouble enters stud at $15,000.

Kitten's Joy, overall leading sire and leading turf sire of 2018, also will have his stud fee remain steady at $75,000.
