Leading sire Tapit , North America's top sire by black-type winners and graded stakes winners for 2019, will stand for $200,000 in 2020, down from $225,000 for this year's breeding season.

"Tapit continues to have a tremendous impact on the breed," said Gainesway's Antony Beck. "We're thrilled to watch the success of his sons at stud. Constitution  and Frosted  have been exceptionally well received. And we're very happy to have several of his promising young sons standing at Gainesway in Anchor Down , Tapizar , and Tapwrit ."

Tapit has sired 76 graded/group winners to date, which include 25 grade 1 winners and seven champions. The 18-year-old son of Pulpit's sale yearlings averaged $465,139 this year and included three seven-figure purchases. His top seller brought $2.5 million at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale from Godolphin, which bought the half brother to champion Nyquist  from breeder/consignor Hinkle Farms.

Empire Maker 's fee will be announced at a future date. The son of Unbridled has sired 12 grade 1 winners and is a proven sire of sires through his sons Pioneerof the Nile and Bodemeister . Empire Maker will be represented in the TVG Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) by top contender Eight Rights, who comes into the Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita Park off a six-length win in the American Pharoah Stakes (G1).

Empire Maker's 2019 sale yearlings averaged $268,393, topped by a $2 million filly out of Lady Pewitt that Shawn Dugan, as agent, bought out of Gainesway's consignment. The yearling filly is a half sister to 2018 Eclipse champion 2-year-old filly Jaywalk.
