Private Jet company, Sentient Jet is partnering with horse, Omaha Beach —a Kentucky-bred colt named for the most intensely fought-after beach of D-Day in World War II—to commemorate our hometown heroes at the Breeders' Cup in Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. Nov. 2.

Once a 4-1 morning-line favorite for the Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve (G1), Omaha Beach had an entrapped epiglottis which forced him to be pulled out of the classic. e returned with a victory in the Santa Anita Sprint Championship (G1) Oct. 5.

Sentient Jet will be partnering with Omaha Beach for the rest of the horse's career, raising awareness for veteran's organization, Homes for our Troops.

As a part of the partnership, the private jet company will host veterans at every race for Omaha Beach. This builds on Sentient Jet's multi-year awareness campaign in support of Homes For Our Troops, which began with the company's partnership with Combatant at the 2018 Kentucky Derby followed by Tenfold at the 2018 Preakness (G1) and Belmont (G1) stakes.

The horse's owner, Rick Porter has named many Thoroughbreds after important military moments to remind race fans of the incredible sacrifices that have been made by the nation's veterans throughout history.

Homes For Our Troops builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post -9/11 Veterans. Most of these veterans have sustained life-altering injuries, and these homes enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.
