Covfefe sped to victory Nov. 2 in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) at Santa Anita Park, putting LNJ Foxwoods back in the spotlight on the world's biggest stage.
The Roth family stable owns a piece of Country House, who was elevated to first in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1). Saturday, their 3-year-old daughter of Into Mischief pressed the pace and took charge off the turn for home, then held off a late run from Bellafina. Dawn the Destroyer rallied for third after trailing the field for much of the seven-furlong event.
The final time was 1:22.40 on a fast track.
