Multiple grade 1 winner Bellafina, runner-up to Covfefe by three-quarters of a length in the Nov. 2 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) at Santa Anita Park, has been withdrawn from The November Sale, Fasig-Tipton's breeding stock sale in Lexington, and will race in 2020 for owner Kaleem Shah.

Consignor Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency announced the decision Nov. 3 via Twitter.

"Multiple grade 1 winner and gallant runner-up in yesterday's Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint, Bellafina has been withdrawn from the Fasig-Tipton November Sale and will stay in training next year," the agency reported.

Shah added, "I love racing, and Bellafina is a joy to me and my family. She ran a great race yesterday and deserves to get another opportunity to win a Breeders' Cup race next year."

The Quality Road  filly won the 2019 Santa Anita Oaks (G1), Las Virgenes Stakes (G2), and Santa Ynez Stakes (G2) as a 3-year-old, along with the 2018 Chandelier Stakes (G1) and Del Mar Debutante Stakes (G1) during her 2-year-old year. She was bred in Kentucky by JSM Equine out of the Malibu Moon mare Akron Moon and was an $800,000 purchase by Shah's KSI from Wavertree Stables' consignment to The Gulfstream Sale, Fasig-Tipton's select sale of 2-year-olds in training.

Trained by Simon Callaghan, Bellafina has a 6-2-1 record from 12 starts, with earnings of $1,386,725.
