Transplendid, the dam of Iroquois Stakes (G3) winner Dennis' Moment, has been supplemented to The November Sale, Fasig-Tipton's Nov. 5 breeding stock sale in Lexington. She and her weanling filly by Into Mischief will be consigned by Ballysax Bloodstock, agent for Grantley Acres.
Dennis' Moment is one of the top colts of his 2-year-old class. He quickly made a name for himself, breaking his maiden July 27 by 19 1/4 lengths at Ellis Park. He followed that performance with another victory in the Sept. 14 Iroquois at Churchill Downs. Most recently, he went off as the odds-on favorite in the TVG Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) but stumbled leaving the gate and finished eighth.
Transplendid, cataloged as Hip 221, will be offered in foal to More Than Ready . Uni's win in the Nov. 2 TVG Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T) was the seventh Breeders' Cup victory by a son or daughter of the WinStar Farm stallion, making him the leading sire by Breeders' Cup wins.
Transplendid, a 9-year-old daughter of Elusive Quality, will be preceded in the ring by her weanling filly (Hip 220). Into Mischief, North America's leading sire, was represented by Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) winner Covfefe.
"Transplendid and her 2019 Into Mischief filly are strong late additions to the catalog," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning Jr. "Dennis' Moment has already stamped himself a special horse and, as of this morning, is the co-second favorite in Kentucky Derby (G1) future wagering pools, which demonstrates what high regard the public holds him in despite his poor racing luck in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. There is substantial upside with this mare and foal package."
These entries can be viewed online and will also be available via the equineline catalog app. Print versions will be available on site at Fasig-Tipton. The November Sale will begin at 3 p.m. ET.
