Photo Call in the ring at Fasig-Tipton
Photo Call, a multiple grade 1-winning mare in foal to Quality Road , was sold for $2.7 million to Katsumi Yoshida of Japan-based Northern Farm during The November Sale, Fasig-Tipton's breeding stock sale in Lexington Nov. 5.
Consigned as Hip 166 by Denali Stud, the 8-year-old Galileo mare earned $827,102 during her career and had the distinction of defeating two-time champion Tepin in the First Lady Stakes (G1T) at Keeneland.
Produced from the group 3-winning mare Theann, Photo Call is a half sister to group 2 winner Land Force and was bred in Ireland by Mrs. Evie Stockwell.
