Ohio breeders will have two new stallions to consider for the 2020 breeding season with the additions of Spendthrift Farm's grade 1 winner Danza  to the roster at Fair Winds Farm and the retirement of graded-placed winner Dynamic Racer  to R.C. Cline Thoroughbred Farm.

Danza is being leased for two years to Fair Winds, which has been the home of several top Ohio stallions over the years, including the state's seven-time overall leading sire Mercer Mill, who also led his sire class as a freshman, second-crop, and third-crop sire. Mercer Mill was part of a partnership between Fair Winds and the late W.T. Young's Overbrook Farm, which also stood Gold Market and Noble Cat in Ohio.

An 8-year-old son of Street Boss , Danza won or placed five times out of five starts. His top performances were a victory in the 2014 Arkansas Derby (G1) and a third-place finish in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) behind future Horse of the Year California Chrome .

Danza is out of the stakes-placed French Deputy mare Champagne Royale, making him a half brother to grade 1 winner Majestic Harbor  (Rockport Harbor) and to the winning Elusive Quality mare Totally Tucker, who is a multiple graded stakes producer.

"We are very excited to have him because of his race record, and he is a very good-looking horse," said Lori Williams of Fair Winds. "Ohio breeders like new stallions, and we are hearing more from new people interested in the Ohio program. People are finding opportunities in the regional markets."

Danza will stand for $2,500.

Dynamic Racer is a Lou Dunn Diekemper Racing homebred who finished first or second five times out of seven starts. His best performance was a runner-up effort in this year's Jeff Ruby Steaks (G3) at Turfway Park behind grade 1-placed graded stakes winner Somelikeithotbrown. He defeated eventual British Columbia Derby (G3) winner Five Star General in the race.

The 3-year-old son of Run Away and Hide is out of the Any Given Saturday winner Biogio's Gift, who is a daughter to multiple graded stakes winner Biogio's Rose. Dynamic Racer's immediate family includes 2014 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1) winner Dance With Fate, listed stakes winner Matt King Coal, and stakes-placed winners Biogio's Baby, Pursuing Fate, and Citizenship.

"He is a nice-looking horse with a good shoulder who is put together well and showed some speed," said Bobby Cline, who is standing the colt for a private fee on behalf of the owners. "The owners have several mares they will be breeding, so the stallion is being supported."

Run Away and Hide, a son of City Zip who stands at Darby Dan Farm, is a multiple graded stakes winner who only ran at 2 but was undefeated. His best win was the 2008 Saratoga Special Stakes (G2). As a stallion, he has sired 15 stakes winners, including multiple Canadian champion and millionaire Are You Kidding Me. The sire's other graded stakes winners are Alberts Hope, Heaven's Runway, Micro Margarita, Run Away, and Ten City.
