Best Solution, a three-time top-level winner for Godolphin, will take up covering duties at Gestüt Auenquelle next year with his introductory fee set at €6,500 (US$7,154) and shares also available.
The 5-year-old son of Kodiac has been purchased by a consortium of German studs comprising Auenquelle, Gestüt Brümmerhof, Gestüt Ittlingen, and Gestüt Röttgen.

The Saeed bin Suroor-trained bay is well known in Germany, where he notched a group 1 double in the Longines Grosser Preis von Berlin and the Longines Grosser Preis von Baden last year. He also won the Princess of Wales's Arqana Racing Club Stakes (G2) and Stella Artois Caulfield Cup (G1) at 4.
Best Solution brings strong 2-year-old form to the table. He won the Dubai 100 Autumn Stakes (G3) and split superstars Waldgeist and Capri when he finished second in the Criterium de Saint-Cloud (G1).
He took the Betfred Derby Trial and Worthingtons "Indigo Leisure" St. Simon Stakes (G3) and also finished second in the Grosser Dallmayr-Preis-Bayerisches Zuchtrennen (G1) at 3, although he failed to fire in two starts at 5 this year.
Best Solution was bred by Cecil and Martin McCracken out of the placed Kingmambo mare Al Andalyya, a half sister to German listed winner Kosmische and Prix Hocquart (G2) runner-up Cape Clear Island.
The dam is out of Kushnarenkovo, a group 3-placed Sadler's Wells sister to 2003 St. Leger (G1) winner Brian Boru and to the dam of Investec Derby (G1) and Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) hero Workforce.
Best Solution is one of four group 1 winners for Tally-Ho Stud flagship stallion Kodiac—along with Fairyland, Hello Youmzain, and Tiggy Wiggy—and one of 25 pattern scorers by him overall.
He was a 90,000 guineas ($144,869) purchase by Godolphin at Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
