Pink Lloyd was declared a non-starter last out in the Bold Venture Stakes at Woodbine

After being declared a non-starter in his previous start, Entourage Stable's Pink Lloyd is set to aim for a second victory Nov. 23 in the CA$175,000 Kennedy Road Stakes (G2) at Woodbine.

The 7-year-old Old Forester  gelding was riding a five-race win streak into the Sept. 14 Bold Venture Stakes (G3). He broke awkwardly behind the others and ranged up to finish fourth before the stewards deemed him to have an unfair start.

Pink Lloyd, Canada's 2017 Horse of the Year, won the 2017 Kennedy Road after finishing second in the 2016 edition of the sprint. He wrapped up his 2018 season before the Kennedy Road. The local runner is an imposing foe at the six-furlong distance, with 16 wins in 17 starts going three-quarters of a mile.

The Robert Tiller trainee has earned $1,231,728 from 21 victories in 27 starts and has been assigned the high weight of 121 pounds. Eurico Rosa da Silva will remain aboard Pink Lloyd, who drew post 6.

Dixie's Gamble, a homebred for Ivan Dalos trained by Josie Carroll, enters off his first stakes win, a breakthrough score after being defeated by Pink Lloyd in three consecutive races. The 4-year-old Gamble's Exchange colt won the Oct. 26 Overskate Stakes, a restricted stakes run at seven furlongs, and three starts back was second to Pink Lloyd in the Aug. 4 Shepperton Stakes. Regular jockey Luis Contreras is named to ride from post 1.

DARRS' Extravagant Kid is another to finish second to Pink Lloyd this year. The 6-year-old Kiss the Kid gelding trained by Brendan Walsh was beaten a length in the May 4 Jacques Cartier Stakes (G3) at Woodbine. That effort was sandwiched between two stakes victories—the March 31 Zaxby's Sprint Stakes on Tampa Bay Downs' dirt and the June 1 Mighty Beau Overnight Stakes on Churchill Downs' turf.

Extravagant Kid continued his consistent season with a runner-up effort in the June 29 Highlander Stakes (G1T) and another win in the Aug. 17 Da Hoss Stakes on Colonial Downs' turf. He most recently finished fifth in the Oct. 5 Woodford Stakes Presented by Keeneland Select (G2T) at Keeneland after steadying in the stretch. Rafael Hernandez, who rode Extravagant Kid in the Highlander, has the call again from post 2.

Both Dixie's Gamble and Extravagant Kid will carry 119 pounds, and the remaining six entries will carry 117.

The field also includes the respective second- and third-place finishers from the Oct. 12 Nearctic Stakes (G2T) in Reconfigure and Richiesinthehouse. Reconfigure, owned and trained by Tiller, was beaten a head and the Kennedy Road will be his first start back. Richiesinthehouse, defeated by a neck, returned Nov. 2 to win by that same margin in an allowance over the Kennedy Road's course and distance.
