Irish Hill & Dutchess Views Stallions held fees steady for six of the seven stallions on its 2020 roster.
Grade 1-placed, grade 2 winner War Dancer , a 9-year-old son of War Front , tops the roster at $7,500. The stallion, which has bred 254 mares for his first three seasons at stud, will be represented by his first crop of yearlings next year. War Dancer won the Virginia Derby (G2T) at 3 and was runner-up in the Man o' War Stakes (G1T) at 5. He retired with a 6-5-5 record out of 30 starts and earned $1,068,925.
The second-highest-priced stallions on the roster are regulars among New York's top sires. Dual classic winner Big Brown and grade 1 winner Bellamy Road will continue standing for $5,000 each.
Through Nov. 24, Big Brown is the runner-up on this year's leading New York sires list by progeny earnings and is the state's leading sire by number of black-type winners with five. Big Brown was New York's leading sire in 2015.
Bellamy Road currently ranks fourth on the leading New York sire list by progeny earnings. He was runner-up to Freud in the New York sire standings for 2016-18.
An Irish Hill & Dutchess Views stallion show will be held 1-4 p.m. Dec. 7 at Irish Hill Century Farm near Stillwater, N.Y. A raffle for free seasons to each stallion will be held.
