Grade 1-placed, multiple graded stakes winner Majestic City has been relocated to the Irish Hill & Dutchess Views Stallions roster from Questroyal North for the 2020 breeding season.
The 10-year-old son of City Zip is currently New York's leading first-crop sire and the state's only freshman sire with repeat winners through Dec. 2. His top runner, A Maize Zing Rip, has won two of five starts this year and was third in the Aspirant Stakes at Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack.
Bred by Trackside Farm and Robert and Helen Evans out of the winning Meadowlake daughter It'schemistrybaby, Majestic City won his debut at Hollywood Park by 1 1/2 lengths. He became a black-type winner in his second start and by his third start won his first graded stakes in the Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stakes (G3).
He went on to finish third in the Del Mar Futurity (G1) and second in the Dixiana Breeders' Futurity (G1). For his career, Majestic City won or placed in seven graded stakes, which included a victory in the 2015 Lone Star Park Handicap (G3). He retired with a 5-4-4 record from 30 starts and earned $582,960.
Majestic City will be available for inspection during the Irish Hill & Dutchess Views stallion show Dec. 7 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. He stands for $3,500 in 2020.
