Tale of the Tape: The Rematch

Image:
Description:

California Chrome and Shared Belief, two of racing’s marquee names, return to the big stage next Saturday for the San Antonio Stakes at Santa Anita Park. The 2014 Horse of the Year (California Chrome) and 2013 champion 2-year-old male (Shared Belief) last met in the Breeders’ Cup Classic, with both falling short of victory.
The good news is, both horses return for their 4-year-old campaigns in top form. Both Shared Belief and Chrome rebounded from the Classic loss and each cruised to Grade 1 victories to close out 2014.
The horses: conditioned. The owners: passionate. The rivalry: heated. The fans: fervent. Whose camp are you in?
Watch live at “The Great Race Place,” or tune in for The Jockey Club Tour on Fox Sports 1 at 5:30 p.m. ET for all of the action. Be sure to follow the hashtag #TheRematch.
