Multiple graded stakes-winning millionaire Long On Value , who stands at Pleasant Acres Stallions, sired his first reported foal Jan. 22 when a colt was born near Ocala, Fla., at Hidden Oaks Farm for Just For Fun Stables.

The colt is out of the Meadowlake mare Valid Meadow, a Kentucky-bred out of the Valid Appeal mare Unchained Appeal.

"Like father like son. This colt has a great shoulder, strong hip, and a lot of leg," said Charles Weston of Hidden Oaks Farm. "We are expecting another Long On Value foal in two weeks, and I'm confident it will be as good as this one."

Trained in his last two starts by Brad Cox for Madaket Stables, Ten Strike Racing, and Steve Laymon, Long On Value finished in the top four in 22 races, including 12 graded stakes. During his long career, Long On Value won the Highlander Stakes (G1T) at Woodbine, the Twilight Derby (G2T) at Santa Anita Park, and the Canadian Turf Stakes (G3T) at Gulfstream Park. He was second, a nose behind the winner, in the 2017 Al Quoz Sprint Sponsored By Azizi Developments (G1) in Dubai and third in the Ricoh Woodbine Mile Stakes (G1T) at Woodbine and Maker's 46 Mile Stakes (G1T) at Keeneland.

Campaigned at 15 tracks in four countries, Long On Value won on both dirt and turf, while going short and long. With a racing career that spanned six seasons, Long On Value received seven triple-digit Beyer Speed Figures.

A son of Value Plus, by Unbridled's Song, Long On Value stands at Joseph and Helen Barbazon's Pleasant Acres Stallions for a fee of $2,500.

Pleasant Acres also stands Amira's Prince, Beau Choix , Bucchero , Handsome Mike , Neolithic , Ride On Curlin , and Treasure Beach .
