Graded stakes-placed winner Eastwood sired his first reported foal when a bay filly out of the Bear's Kid mare I'm Just Sayin was born Jan. 20 at 4 Little R's Farm in Pennsylvania.

Bred by owner/breeder Martina Rojas, the filly is the third foal out of her dam, who is a half sister to six winners. I'm Just Sayin's dam, Always Elated, is a half sister to multiple stakes winner Elated Guy (Brave Shot) and stakes-placed winner and stakes producer Just Elated (Bold Ruckus), who produced stakes-placed winners Gone Trajectory and Elated Moon.

Eastwood is a 10-year-old son of Speightstown  who Town & Country Farm acquired for $800,000 at 3 at Fasig-Tipton's Kentucky July Horses of Racing Age session from Baccari Bloodstock. The colt went on to compile a 4-2-2 record out of 12 starts, with his best performance a runner-up finish in the Los Angeles Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita Park. He retired with $265,545 in earnings.

Bred by Fred Hertrich, Eastwood is out of the Deputy Minister mare Fifth Avenue Ball, who is the dam of stakes winner Gotham Gala (Smart Strike) and a half sister to grade 1-placed stakes winner Shop Till You Drop (Thunder Gulch), stakes winner and producer In Rome (Saint Ballado), and multiple grade 3-placed winner Clays Awesome (Awesome Again).

Town & Country continues to own Eastwood, who stands at Diamond B Farm near Mohrsville, Pa. Eastwood stands for $2,500.
