Sharing works four furlongs Feb. 3 at Palm Meadows

Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T) winner Sharing returned to the work tab Feb. 3 for the first time since her Nov. 1 victory in preparation for her 2020 debut.

Trained by Graham Motion for owners Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Antony Beck's Gainseway Stable, Sharing breezed a half-mile on turf in :48.70 at Palm Meadows Training Center in Florida.

According to Motion and Aron Wellman of Eclipse Thoroughbreds, the 3-year-old Speightstown  filly could make her season debut in the March 7 Florida Oaks (G3T) at Tampa Bay Downs.

"We spent a month after the Breeders' Cup freshening her up at Fair Hill (Motion's Maryland base) and then around the first of December she headed down to Florida to get some sun on her back," Wellman said. "Graham has really been finessing her along the last couple months, regaining her foundation and building her back up toward today's work. We got set back a little bit because of weather but not too bad, and if all goes well (we will aim for) the Florida Oaks at Tampa Bay."

Sharing, a Maryland-bred out of 2010 Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1T) winner Shared Account, won two of three starts, including the Selima Stakes, prior to her Breeders' Cup win.

"By all accounts (Motion) is pleased with her and we're just hoping we have a good month and get her on schedule to launch her sophomore campaign," Wellman added.

Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners went to $350,000 for Sharing during The Saratoga Sale, Fasig-Tipton's 2018 select yearling sale in New York, where Upson Downs Farm consigned her.

Allied Racing Stable and Spendthrift Farm's Mr. Money also had his initial work of the year Monday morning, going three furlongs in :37 3/5 over the dirt at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots.

The 4-year-old Goldencents  colt, trained by Bret Calhoun, finished seventh in the Big Ass Fans Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) behind winner Spun to Run. Prior to that Nov. 2 test he had placed runner-up in the Pennsylvania Derby (G1) and won four consecutive grade 3 stakes.

Bred by Spruce Lane Farm in Kentucky, Mr. Money is out of the Tiznow  mare Plenty O'Toole. He has earned $1,287,220 from a record of 5-3-0 in 12 starts.
