The New York Racing Association has canceled its Feb. 7 live racing program at Aqueduct Racetrack due to dangerously high winds forecast for the New York metropolitan area throughout the day.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Friday with forecasts calling for sustained winds from 25-35 mph and gusts up to 60 mph. Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting, and online wagering is available through NYRA Bets at NYRABets.com.

Live racing is scheduled to resume on Feb. 8 at the Big A with a nine-race card headlined by the $100,000 Jimmy Winkfield Stakes. First post is 1 p.m. ET.

The Maryland Jockey Club serves as host of the Stronach 5. Laurel remains open for simulcast wagering. Live racing returns Saturday with a first race post of 12:25 p.m. ET.
