Another Miracle

Leonard Green and Jonathan Green's Another Miracle, a stakes-winning son of 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah , returns to the turf to get his sophomore season started in the $75,000 Texas Glitter Stakes March 21 at Gulfstream Park.

The sixth running of the Texas Glitter for 3-year-olds shares top billing on a 12-race program with the fifth renewal of the $75,000 Melody of Colors Stakes for 3-year-old fillies, both sprinting five furlongs on the grass. First-race post time is 12:45 p.m. ET.

Another Miracle will be making his first start since being moved to the Gulfstream barn of Joe Orseno after New York-based trainer Gary Contessa announced his retirement March 5. Another Miracle raced six times for Contessa, finishing fifth as the favorite in the six-furlong Inaugural Stakes on dirt Dec. 7 last time out. Another Miracle finished third in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2T) and won last year's Skidmore Stakes at Saratoga Race Course.

"I just got the horse two weeks ago. He came in from Tampa. Gary Contessa sent him to me," Orseno said. "He's training well. He's done everything right up to now. I had a chance to breeze him on the grass on Sunday and he breezed excellent. He appears to be doing as good as expected and he's ready to run. We're looking forward to this race to start his 2020 campaign."

In the Melody of Colors, Andrew Farm's Foolish Humor will make her seasonal debut after a stakes-winning juvenile campaign.

Trained by Wesley Ward, the daughter of Distorted Humor  reached the wire second in last year's Colleen Stakes at Monmouth Park but was placed first by the stewards after being bumped hard by first-to-the-wire Miss J McKay.
