Zoffany will shuttle from Ireland to Argentina for the Southern Hemisphere breeding season later this year after Haras Firmamento reached an agreement with Coolmore for the leading sire's services.

The 12-year-old son of Dansili was sent out by Aidan O'Brien to win five races including the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes (G1) at 2. He famously gave Frankel one of the biggest frights of his racing career when he finished strong to take second in the St. James's Palace Stakes (G1), beaten just three-quarters of a length by the unbeaten dual world champion.

Zoffany proved an instant success at stud, siring three Royal Ascot 2-year-old winners in his debut crop—Illuminate, Washington DC, and Waterloo Bridge—en route to champion first-season sire honors. He is now the sire of 32 stakes winners, including classic hopeful Albigna, an impressive winner of the Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac-Criterium des Pouliches (G1) last year.

"He had a quick start as a stallion and now has larger crops of better mares to represent him, so the best is yet to come," said Laurent Benoit of the Broadhurst Agency, who brokered the shuttle deal. "I'm an admirer of Dansili, and I think Zoffany could be one of the leading stallions in Europe in the coming years."

Zoffany will stand at Haras Firmamento alongside Hit It a Bomb , a Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1T) winner by War Front .
