Fasig-Tipton to Sponsor Gulfstream's Swale

Gulfstream Park has entered a partnership establishing sales company Fasig-Tipton as title sponsor of the $200,000 Swale Stakes (gr. II), to be run Feb. 28.
Gulfstream announced the agreement in a press release Feb. 11.
The Fasig-Tipton Swale, at seven furlongs on the main track, will be one of three stakes races for 3-year-olds contested on that Saturday card. The others are the Palm Beach (gr. IIIT) on turf and the Herecomesthebride (gr. IIIT) for fillies on the grass.
The race begins a week of activities leading up to Fasig-Tipton's Selected 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale March 4 beginning at 4 p.m. ET at Gulfstream. The under-tack show will take place at Gulfstream March 2 at 10 a.m.
