The NBA’s Avery Johnson is a huge fan of horse racing; he went to Fair Grounds in New Orleans as a child as a way of bonding with his father, and still considers the NOLA oval to be his home track. Johnson and his wife are regulars at the Kentucky Derby, and support various charities at the races.
