With a COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the globe, Kerry and Leigh Ann Hopper of R Star Stallions are doing their part to ease the burden on Thoroughbred breeders.
The owners of the Indiana operation announced April 15 that fees for two stallions on their roster, Taprize and What Now , will be waived for contracts of 2019 and 2020.
"As breeders, we understand the investment involved," Leigh Ann Hopper said. "We are working to offer our breeders the very best opportunities, every chance we get. R Star Stallions continually strives to do what is in the best interest of our breeders and our state program."
