The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will hold an educational Thoroughbred ownership seminar Saturday, Feb. 21, at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Ark.
The seminar, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature discussions on the owner/trainer dynamic, options for acquiring horses, veterinary topics, and industry resources for owners, as well as Thoroughbred retirement. The seminar will conclude with lunch followed by an afternoon of racing and Oaklawn Park.
Speakers include Thoroughbred owner John Ed Anthony, trainer Brad Cox, veterinarian Kate Hammer, breeder and Arkansas Thoroughbred Breeders' and Horsemen's Association president Bill McDowell, Oaklawn media director and Thoroughbred aftercare enthusiast Jennifer Hoyt, trainer Kenny McPeek, and Harry Rosenblum.
