Hensey Appointed COO of Al Shaqab Racing

Paul Hensey has been appointed COO of Al Shaqab Racing, Breeding and Arabian Worldwide as Al Shaqab undergo exciting restructure.

Prior to working for Rifa Mustang Europe as CEO for the past three years, Hensey had been running The Curragh Racecourse and Training grounds for fifteen years, providing him with considerable experience across all elements of the international Thoroughbred racing industry.

Paul Hensey commented:

Al Shaqab Racing is HRH Sheikh Joaan Al Thani's private Thoroughbred & Arabian racing & breeding operation, which has worlwide bases including Qatar, France, England, the USA and Australia. Haras de Bouquetot currently stands 8 stallions including the likes of Shalaa, Toronado and Olympic Glory in France, while Mehmas and Galileo Gold stand at Tally Ho Stud in Ireland, and Mshawish as well as Khozan stand in the USA.
