Gary Barber and Lucio Tucci's Skywire, the beaten favorite in last year's Queen's Plate, paid $36.10 after winning the July 4 Eclipse Stakes (G2) at Woodbine. The son of Afleet Alex beat six rivals, getting 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.12.
