Recent Stakes Winners Added to Fasig-Tipton HRA Sale

The Black Album wins the Jonathan B. Schuster Memorial Stakes at Indiana Grand

Six horses have been added to Fasig-Tipton's July Horses of Racing Age Sale, increasing the size of the catalog to 182 entries.

Th July 13 auction in Lexington begins at 4 p.m. ET and will be conducted with horses, buyers, and sellers in attendance, with proper COVID-19 protocols in place, and online and telephone bidding also available.

The new entries are cataloged as Hips 177-182, and may now be viewed online.

Included in the latest sale additions are recent stakes winners Liam's Pride and The Black Album.

Liam's Pride, winner of the Gold Fever Stakes at Belmont Park July 10, is consigned by ELiTE, agent, as Hip 182.

A Kentucky-bred 3-year-old colt by Liam's Map , Liam's Pride earned an 85 Beyer speed figure for the victory. He is a half brother to two stakes performers, including grade 1 winner and millionaire Morning Line, and his second dam is multiple grade 1 winner November Snow.

The Black Album is 4-year-old colt entered in the the sale following a powerful victory in the Jonathan B. Schuster Memorial Stakes at Indiana Grand July 8, earning a 94 Beyer speed figure going 1 1/16 miles on turf. He is consigned by Bluewater Sales, agent, as Hip 177.

A group 3 winner in his native France at 2, the son of Wootton Bassett since arriving in the United States has won two stakes and had two stakes placings, including a third-place finish in the Kentucky Utilities Transylvania Stakes (G3T) at Keeneland. From 14 starts, the colt has five wins and three placings to his credit, with earnings of $232,830.

Sale entries may be viewed in the sale's enhanced online catalog, which features pedigrees, race videos, statistical links, Ragozin "sheet" numbers, and real-time Daily Racing Form and Thoromanager past performances.
