Description:

Last seen cruising to an easy win in the Demoiselle Stakes (gr. II) to close 2014, Condo Commando is scheduled to make her 3-year-old season debut Feb. 21 in the $100,000 Busher Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack.

Owned by Bethlehem Stables, the Elkstone Group, and residential real estate developer Michael Dubb, grade I winner Condo Commando drew the outside post of six 3-year-old fillies entered in Saturday's 1 1/16-mile Busher.

The Kentucky-bred won three of four starts in her juvenile season, including an 11 1/2-length score in the Demoiselle and a 13 1/4-length victory in the Spinaway Stakes (gr. I). The daughter of Tiz Wonderful earned $508,600 in her first season of racing.

"She's coming along good," trainer Rudy Rodriguez said. "I know she wants to be on the lead, but we drew a good post and will leave it up to the jockey (Junior Alvarado) on where she will be during the race, but she's been training very well."

Expected to challenge Condo Commando Saturday will be last year's Matron Stakes (gr. II) winner Paulassilverlining, who enters off a narrow victory in the Ruthless Stakes Jan. 4 at Aqueduct. The Vince Scuderi homebred will be trying two turns for the first time in her career, which includes three wins from five starts for the daughter of Ghostzapper  .
