A daughter of Nyquist  purchased as a weanling for $180,000 tops the pinhook prospects cataloged for Book 4 of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

With 400 head cataloged for each session, Book 4 horses will be offered Sunday and Monday, Sept. 20-21.

Consigned by Paramount Sales, agent, as Hip 2417, the bay filly foaled April 15, 2019, was bred in Kentucky by Bill Justice and was bought in the name of Rascal Bloodstock at The November Sale, Fasig-Tipton's select mixed sale.

The filly was produced from the Lawyer Ron mare Undercover Justice and is a half sister to Conquest Babayaga, who was stakes-placed in Canada and finished second in the Intercontinental Stakes (G3T) at Belmont Park, and to stakes-placed Sorrentina Lemon.

The filly's stakes-winning second dam, Naughty Notions, produced Canadian champion 2-year-old filly Negligee, who won the Darley Alcibiades Stakes (G1) at Keeneland, and stakes-placed Wild Notions.

The second-highest previously purchased offering in Book 4 is Hip 2294, a gray or roan filly from the first crop of grade 1 winner Cupid  consigned by Denali Stud, agent. Bred in Kentucky by Runnymede Farm, the filly was bought by Patrice Miller/EQB for $130,000 at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.

The filly was produced from the stakes-placed Cryptoclearance mare One in a Romp, a half sister to stakes winner and grade 1-placed Pinch Pie, stakes winner Jonesy Boy, and stakes-placed Rogue Victory.

The filly's extended female family includes Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winner and sire Volponi.
