Description:

Jockey Rosie Napravnik was unseated from her mount Be Nice or Leave prior to the seventh race at Churchill Downs Oct. 27.

Napravnik, who one day earlier became the first female to capture the leading rider title at Keeneland, was taken off her remaining four mounts for the day.

She walked into the back of the track ambulance following the spill, where she complained of leg and back soreness. According to Churchill Downs officials, she was wheeled to first aid for further examination by doctors and was deemed body sore with no broken bones.

Napravnik, who is also a three-time meet title holder at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots, is slated to ride Untapable for trainer Steve Asmussen in the Nov. 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I).

According to Napravnik's agent Steve Bass, the jockey should be rested up and ready to ride again for Churchill's Oct. 30 card.
