After another powerful performance, Ghaiyyath, with a 130 rating, remains undefeated this year and retains his top position in the second edition of the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings for 2020.
Ghaiyyath won the Juddmonte International Stakes (G1) by three lengths Aug. 19 at York--the third straight group 1 win for the 5-year-old son of Dubawi.
The top ranked North American-trained horse is multiple grade 1-winning 3-year-old Tiz the Law (125). He is tied for third. Tiz the Law has the highest rating of any dirt horse in the world.
Authentic (123) handed Tiz The Law his first loss of 2020 in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1), which he won by 1 1/4 lengths. He came into the race off a victory in the TVG.com Haskell Invitational Stakes (G1). Authentic is one of six horses tied for the ninth position in the latest rankings.
