Preakness, BC Challenge Races Live on HRRN

LEXINGTON, KY (Sep. 30, 2020) -- Beginning Friday, October 2, Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders' Cup World Championships, will launch 3 days of live race coverage showcasing a total of 8 Breeders' Cup Challenge events, including the 145th running of the Grade 1 Preakness Stakes, a new "Win and You're In" for this year's $6 million Breeders' Cup Classic to be held at Keeneland in Lexington, KY on November 7.

HRRN's coverage kicks off Friday afternoon with Keeneland's Darley Alcibiades (G1) and Phoenix

Stakes (G2) from 5:00-6:00 p.m. ET

On Saturday, HRRN returns from 4:00-6:00 p.m. ET with 2-hours of exclusive Preakness Stakes coverage in partnership with NBC Sports Audio Network.  In addition to the Preakness, Saturday's broadcast will include Pimlico's premier event for three-year-old fillies, the Black-Eyed Susan (G2), along with the Thoroughbred Club of America (G2), First Lady (G1) and Claiborne Breeders' Futurity (G1) from Keeneland.

The weekend coverage concludes Sunday with two more "Win and You're In" stakes from Keeneland, the Spinster (G1) and Bourbon (G2) from 5:00-6:00 p.m. ET.

Each broadcast can be heard nationwide on Sirius channel 219 and XM 201 with live streaming provided on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.  In addition, Saturday's Preakness broadcast will be carried on multitude of terrestrial affiliates across the country.  A complete listing can be found here.

Mike Penna will anchor Saturday's Preakness Stakes broadcast alongside analyst Bobby Neuman.  Friday and Sunday coverage will be hosted by Neuman and Anthony Stabile.

NBC announcer Larry Collmus will provide live race calls of the Black-Eyed Susan and Preakness Stakes, with the voice of Keeneland, Kurt Becker, handling the calls of all challenge race in Lexington, KY.
