Mill Ridge Farm announced the 2021 stud fee for world-record turf miler Oscar Performance  at $15,000 (live foal, stands, and nurses).

A son of 2018 leading North American sire Kitten's Joy , Oscar Performance is out of the Theatrical mare Devine Actress and was bred and raced by Jerry and John Amerman. Trained by Brian Lynch, as a 2-year-old Oscar Performance won the Pilgrim Stakes (G3T) and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1T). He would go on to win the Pennine Ridge Stakes (G3T), Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes (G1T), and Secretariat Stakes (G1T) at 3.

At 4, Oscar Performance broke a 20-year course record at Belmont Park when he completed a mile in 1:31.23 in capturing the Poker Stakes (G3T). He would follow that victory with another top-level score two starts later in the Ricoh Woodbine Mile (G1T). That victory would mark the last win of his career.

All of Oscar Performance's victories came without receiving race-day Lasix. He retired with an 8-0-1 record from 15 starts and $2,345,696 in earnings.

"We celebrate his third year, for we have seen so many of his foals and they are genuine quality," said Headley Bell of Mill Ridge Farm. "He has every opportunity to buck the trend and have more mares in his third year than he had in his first two of 118 and 116. At a stud fee of $15,000 live foal, he is value, for you have these quality foals in the pipeline."

Oscar Performance stood the 2020 season for $20,000.
