Oaklawn Park Cancels Feb. 28 Racing

The Saturday, Feb. 28, race card at Oaklawn Park that featured two $75,000 stakes, has been canceled due to below freezing temperatures.
The Hot Springs, Ark., oval said more details would be available later in the day. The cancellation is the seventh at Oaklawn Park since the meet began in mid-January and second in a row following Friday's cancellation.
The track had sent a notice Friday saying that it hoped to have the track open for morning training and for the 1 p.m. CT first post but was not holding its Dawn at Oaklawn morning program.
