Authentic wins the Breeders' Cup Classic at Keeneland
Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) winner Authentic found redemption on the world's greatest stage Nov. 7 with a clear win in the $6 million Longines Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) at Keeneland.
The Into Mischief colt rebounded from his narrow Preakness Stakes (G1) loss to the filly Swiss Skydiver with a frontrunning score and turned back fellow Bob Baffert trainee Improbable en route to a 2 1/4-length score.
The final time was a track-record 1:59.19.
Global Campaign was third.
