War of Will retired with career earnings of $1,881,803 and four graded stakes wins for trainer Mark Casse and owner Gary Barber. In addition to his two grade 1 victories, War of Will also won the Risen Star Stakes Presented by Lamarque Ford (G2) and Lecomte Stakes (G3) at 3, and placed in the Summer Stakes (G1T) at 2, the Pennsylvania Derby (G1) at 3, and was third in his penultimate start, the Ricoh Woodbine Mile Stakes (G1T).
In his final start, he finished ninth in the Nov. 7 Big Ass Fans Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) at Keeneland.
War of Will was a $298,550 purchase by Justin Casse from the Oak Tree Farm consignment at the 2018 Arqana May 2-Year-Old Breeze Up Sale. The bay was bred by Flaxman Holdings in Kentucky out of the Sadler's Wells mare Visions of Clarity, who also produced group 1 winner Pathfork and multiple stakes winner Tacticus.
