Sackatoga Stable confirmed Nov. 12 that Tiz the Law's 4-year-old racing campaign for 2021 will begin with a start in the Jan. 23 Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes (G1) at Gulfstream Park. Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1)- and Longines Breeders' Cup Classic (G1)-winning jockey John Velazquez will be aboard the Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets (G1) and Runhappy Travers Stakes (G1) winner for the $3 million race.

Velazquez replaces Manny Franco on the son of Constitution . Franco piloted Tiz the Law to four grade 1 wins. Tiz the Law finished unplaced in the Nov. 7 Classic as the favorite in his most recent start.

Knowlton said, "I'm grateful for all that (Franco) has accomplished thus far with 'Tiz.' How can you not be? But we have another year of racing ahead of us and want to do what's best for him and our partners. Tiz's story still has another chapter."

Sackatoga Stable reported that Tiz the Law arrived at Palm Meadows Training Center Nov. 10 a bit tired but in great condition following his trip from Keeneland. Tiz the Law will have an easy next few weeks before returning to serious training in preparation for the Pegasus World Cup.
