Mother Nature continues to have an impact on North American racing as Laurel Park canceled its Sunday, March 1, live race card, due to a winter storm producing snow and freezing rain.
It is the ninth cancellation this year at the Maryland track that will remain open for simulcasting. The next scheduled race date at Laurel is Thursday, March 5.
Four tracks canceled all or part of their live racing programs Saturday, Feb. 28, due to inclement weather.
