The CA$100,000 Frost King Stakes at Woodbine has been rescheduled for Nov. 20, the Toronto track announced Nov. 17.
Originally slated to run on Nov. 15, the race was postponed after Woodbine Entertainment canceled Sunday's Thoroughbred racing at due to an extreme weather warning issued by Environment Canada.
The Frost King Stakes, a 6 1/2-furlong event run on the Tapeta track for Ontario-sired 2-year-olds, will be the eighth race on Friday and included in the weekly Racing Night Live broadcast from 7-9 p.m. ET on TSN. First post time on Friday is 4:45 p.m.
De Only Solution was supplemented into the Frost King, which now has nine horses entered.
Racing at Woodbine resumes Nov. 19. Trainer Mark Casse will have multiple chances at both Woodbine and in the United States to notch his 3,000th career milestone Thursday with two horses entered to run in Toronto, two at Churchill Downs, and two more at Gulfstream Park West. Casse had six entered to run on Woodbine's canceled card.
