November 27, 2020 - I Am Horse Racing (501c4) and MyRacehorse.com are pleased to announce a newfound partnership in the interest of education and communication within the world of horse racing. In addition to providing a closer look at MyRacehorse's latest offering, the "Future Stars Bundle," which will highlight 14 yearlings purchased at the 2020 Keeneland September Sale for a combined $3.3 million, the content series around these horses will also focus on the personal stories of those who have dedicated their lives to the industry. Both IAHR and MyRacehorse are heavily aligned in the importance of featuring the countless ways in which these individuals help our industry move forward.
The "Future Stars Bundle" was a huge and immediate success with its 10,000 shares selling out quickly during its launch last week. More than 2,000 new customers have joined the MyRacehorse platform through this unique offering, which proved to be an innovative way to attract newcomers while satisfying existing customers with the option to diversify at an affordable price point of $50 per share.
This joint effort will use a content-heavy program focusing on the journey and overall progress of 14 yearlings, showcasing them from breaking and training to their first steps onto a racetrack, as well as all the people caring for them along the way. The mission of MyRacehorse continues to be revolutionizing the industry and communicating the overall commitment and passion involved from those within the sport. And, with a little help from those at I Am Horse Racing, these stories will be brought to life.
Christina Blacker, Director of Public Relations for IAHR, believes in the importance of such an alliance. "One of our main goals in creating I Am Horse Racing was to reach new and potential fans and to educate them about the sport of horse racing. The MyRacehorse platform is a seminal marketing opportunity and offers us a unique ability to reach a broader audience and there's nothing but upside to that. We are excited to go on this journey with MyRacehorse and the Future Stars Bundle and can't wait to introduce the racing and sports world to everyone involved in their progress and future success."
Michael Behrens, CEO & Founder of MyRacehorse expressed his excitement with the new partnership as well. "We have an incredible opportunity, and frankly a responsibility, to educate, engage and entertain the thousands of owners that acquired an ownership interest in the Future Stars Bundle. I Am Horse Racing has demonstrated a unique and captivating ability to go behind the scenes, and uncover the personalities, passions, and skills of professionals that make this sport possible. Over 5,000 people are about to go on an incredible journey of racehorse ownership. This is going to be special."
The 14 yearlings in the "Future Stars Bundle" are sired by a diverse group of outstanding stallions, including Into Mischief, War Front, Empire Maker and Uncle Mo, as well as young rising sires Frosted, Not This Time, Honor Code, and Gun Runner.
The trainers behind these yearlings represent some of the best in the game, including Hall of Famers Bob Baffert, Bill Mott, Richard Mandella, and Steve Asmussen, as well as Todd Pletcher, Christophe Clement, Al Stall Jr., Tom Amoss, and Dan Blacker.
