Charles Town, Penn National Cancel Racing

In advance of the winter weather moving through the area beginning late the evening of March 4 that is expected to produce significant snowfall as well as wind chills into the single digits, live racing at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races for March 4 and the following evening—Thursday, March 5—has been canceled.
Pending further developments with the weather, simulcasting is slated to go on at Charles Town as scheduled throughout the day on Thursday with live racing slated to resume the evening of Friday, March 6, at 7:05 p.m. ET.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Casino at Penn National announced that, due to winter weather conditions and another expected snow storm, live racing would be cancelled for Wednesday night, March 4.
Simulcasting was to continue throughout the day at Penn National, with the next live racing program beginning Thursday evening, March 5, at 6:00 p.m. ET.
