Kameko is set for a strong debut book after Tweenhills announced that they and Qatar Racing would be sending 45 of their own mares to last year's QIPCO Two Thousand Guineas (G1) hero.
The dual group 1 winner is standing for a fee of £25,000 at the Gloucestershire-based stud alongside Zoustar, Lightning Spear, and Havana Gold.
Among the eyecatchers in his book is the dual grade 1 winner Con Te Partiro, a $1.6 million private purchase by Qatar Racing at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.
Con Te Partiro, who struck in Australia in the Coolmore Classic Tad Kennedy Stakes (G1) and Coolmore Legacy Stakes (G1) for Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, is a daughter of the late Scat Daddy and out of the grade 1-placed Street Cry mare Temple Street.
The 7-year-old, who also won the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot for Wesley Ward in 2017, is a half sister to the grade 2-placed Donworth.
Also among Kameko's opening book is An Ghalanta, a stakes-winning juvenile and dam of last year's Betway Empress Fillies' Stakes scorer Time Scale; A Little Bit Me, a stakes-winning daughter of Owen Brown Rockfel Stakes (G2) victress Sayedah; and Common Knowledge, the dam of group winners Astrophysical Jet, Coral Wave, and Know It All, the last-named third in the Prix Rothschild (G1) last term.
Also featuring are Granny Franny, the producer of three individual stakes winners by Kitten's Joy , the sire of Kameko; Albany Stakes (G3) winner Kiyoshi; and the stakes-placed Ninfea, a half sister to group 1 heroine Novellist.
Tweenhills also revealed that DFS Park Hill Stakes (G2) second Melodic Motion, group winner Now Or Never, a half sister to Fairyland, stakes victress Roheryn, and Derrinstown Stud One Thousand Guineas Trial (G3) second Ship of Dreams will be sent to Kameko.
Tweenhills managing director David Redvers said: "The Two Thousand Guineas has long been regarded as the greatest stallion-making race and Kameko won it in a time faster than any horse in history.
"We're committed to making Kameko a success at stud and are entrusting him with the most exciting broodmares from Qatar Racing and Tweenhills.
"He has received exceptional external support from some of the most successful breeders and breeding operations worldwide, including Chasemore, Cheveley Park, Juddmonte, Meon Valley, Monceaux, Plantation, and Whitsbury, and we can't wait to get his season started."
