Meadowlands Cancels Live Racing Nov. 1

Due to heavy rains that hit northern New Jersey overnight and are expected to continue through early afternoon Nov. 1, the Meadowlands racetrack has canceled live Thoroughbred racing.
The Meadowlands will remain open for simulcasting, including the full card from Santa Anita Park and the first day of the Breeders’ Cup. Gates open at the Big M at 11 a.m. EDT.
Live racing will return to the Meadowlands Saturday, Nov. 2, which is the final day of the all-turf Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet.
